Customer Success Stories
The Laboratory Roll-To-Roll Coater has indeed proven itself reliable for our requirements. We've found the web control feature to be particularly impressive, offering seamless adjustment. The slot-die heads have performed admirably, presenting no issues thus far. Regarding the heating unit, it's both user-friendly and easy to detach and reattach. While the UV unit functions effectively, we believe an adjustable power level feature would enhance its versatility. A standout characteristic of the system is the ease with which the heat and UV stations can be removed and reattached. Overall, we are highly satisfied with the unit's performance. It offers exceptional web tension and control, and the heat and UV units function precisely as expected. The slot-die print heads consistently deliver high-quality, repeatable results from run to run.
Furthermore, our experience with ordering and shipping from your company, based in Canada, was seamless. Jon, our sales representative, was transparent and easy to collaborate with throughout the process. Shipping occurred within a reasonable timeframe of approximately 4-6 weeks, with subsequent orders for small parts like shims arriving promptly within 2 weeks.

The Advanced Technology Institute at the University of Surrey opened a new cutting-edge research facility called the “Scaled Printing Laboratory“. The equipment in the SPL enables the fabrication of large-area printed devices such as solar cells, sensors, transistors, batteries and more.
When we were choosing the fabrication tools for the SPL, we were pleased to discover that infinityPV offers a versatile industrial roll-to-roll coater, TR2RC, which is capable of depositing functional materials via the slot-die coating technique. The TR2RC offers very good control over various fabrication parameters, such as coating speed and temperature in addition to the possibility of choosing from different drying options (hot air and IR drying).
Therefore, we acquired the TR2RC to use it for the fabrication of perovskite- or organic-based solar cells. The communication with the infinityPV team was excellent and professional, and the delivery was very quick. We use the TR2RC daily and we are very happy with the product, hence we would recommend it further.

During the loan of the equipment infinityPV personnel has been very helpful and professional. The series of videos available in youtube enable to rapidly get familiarized with the RLC. Besides, they are great experts in the field and their phone and email support until now has been excellent. This being one of the reasons that convince us to go forward the acquisition of our own RLC.
We like the size of the printing area. RLC can reach 100x280 mm which enables the development of quite large devices, such as photodetector imagers or photovoltaic modules as two modules can be printed in one run.
We also appreciate the multifunctionality of the RLC, as it can be easily transformed into a flexography coater by adding an accessory. This will be very useful for the deposition of top contacts on our devices.

The first time we received the unit, the packing box had two shallow damages on two different sides. The corners looked fine. I signed the confirmation of receipt without thinking too much. In the USA, we usually take the package unless it is obviously wrecked. The other option was that the Fedex delivery person took the package back, all the way back to Europe. After unboxing, I found that there was a serious scratch on the RLC. The shipping company denied any responsibility and any compensation because I signed.
infinityPV covered all the expenses for taking the unit back for repair. I would like to give infinityPV and its representative a big thumbs-up for their customer services! I recommend this company!

Thanks a bunch for letting us try out your slot-die coater. We were glad to have to opportunity to try the process out and incorporate it into our fabrication process.

I would like to thank you for your support in this purchase and the great service of your company. The ISOSun arrived save and sound that day, just like you predicted. We unpacked and tested it and it is working great.
When I brought the delivery note to our purchase office today, he told me that also he was totally impressed by the fast shipping process and the accurate information you provided all the way!
He especially liked that photograph of the ISOSun being loaded into the truck. I thought, I should pass this positive feedback on to you.

My colleagues and I at VTT had the pleasure to test firsthand InfinityPV’s RLC full tabletop slot-die coating unit in Oulu. The experience from initial contact, with InfinityPV’s professional staff, to the return shipment of the coater (from Oulu to Denmark) proved to be valuable and smooth.
The ability to test the coating unit on site, in our own lab and inks, with our skilled research staff was extremely valuable. This was especially relevant during the time of the pandemic that limited travel.
The RLC coater was very easy to position in one of our printing lab fume hoods, and arrived at VTT with a clear set of instructions which enabled us to have tests up and running quickly. We had a great experience and are thankful the constant support throughout the trial. Kiitos from Finland.
